I’m Ben Colwell. I grew up in Northwest Washington and learned the flooring trade the old-fashioned way — on job sites, from family, over decades of hands-on work. Flooring has been part of my life for over 20 years, and I still approach every project with the same mindset I started with: do it right, or don’t do it at all.

Colwell Flooring Creations is a one-man operation by design. When you reach out, I’m the person you’ll talk to, the one who shows up, and the one doing the work in your home. I believe that kind of accountability matters, especially when someone is trusting me with their space.

I take a lot of pride in being reliable, detail-oriented, and easy to work with — qualities I’ve found matter just as much as technical skill. My goal is simple: honest work, clear communication, and results I’m proud to put my name on.
